We are an independent Literary Agency representing award-winning and best-selling authors, as well as fabulous new voices, in both commercial fiction and non-fiction from around the world.
The common denominator across our authors is quality writing, great stories and brilliant new ideas. We represent authors who have a gripping, well-written book, ideas that engage the reader, language that fizzes and sizzles off the page, and stories that demand to be told.
Many of our authors come to us as debut writers and we actively work with them to support the development of their manuscripts. We also welcome established authors to help bring them a new level of attention and income.
Working in partnership, we provide timely, friendly and efficient support. We believe that story telling is at the heart of a good book, whether novels or narrative non-fiction, and look forward to page turning ideas from all our authors. We delight in providing editorial support to shape proposals and manuscripts and then carefully match them with key editors.
Mike Bryan is a well-loved and internationally renowned publishing professional with a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years. Most recently, he was President and Vice Chair of Penguin Canada, and CEO of Penguin Books India.
Mike is currently the Managing Director of Baker Street Press, a leading publisher of classics for children.
Starting work in the local bookshop whilst studying for her A levels, Heather has a thirty year connection with the publishing industry in the UK, India and North America.
Using her experiences as an author, commissioning editor, businesswoman and coach, Heather is ideally placed to use her skills and knowledge to support authors and develop and sell great new books.
She is currently one of the Directors of the successful Buckingham Literary Festival.
